Matthew Stamp started as a New Vehicle Sales Consultant in October of 1997. In that time he has received many accolades from Toyota, including being judged as the best sales consultant in Australia by his peers in the annual Toyota Sales Walkaround contest not once, but twice. He is currently the only sales consultant in Australia who has achieved this level of recognition. He is also a Toyota Gold Executive Mentor which acknowledges the efforts of sales consultants who consistently over achieve in the areas of sales, training and customer satisfaction.
At delivery of your new vehicle you will be introduced to Vernon Lucas who has been a Service Advisor with us since June 1986. Obviously, over this time Vernon has one countless awards not only with Toyota but also with the Cessnock Chamber Of Commerce for his service to the industry. He is currently ranked as a Service Specialist with Toyota so that you can rest assured that your new vehicle maintenance is in safe hands.

We have been a major sponsor of local rugby league club, the Cessnock Goannas since 2001 who in that time have seen six first grade grand finals, winning the silverware in 2003.
In 2016, Cessnock Toyota became the naming rights sponsor of Cessnock Toyota Stadium (formerly Cessnock Civic Indoor Sports Centre). Home to the Cessnock Basketball Association, Cessnock Toyota Stadium is now also able to host indoor netball and soccer competitions as a result of our sponsorship.
Cessnock Toyota proudly supports more than 300 local junior and senior Netballer's by being a major sponsor of Cessnock District Netball Association.
The Cauliflower Club is a Rugby Union based charity committed to providing sporting and recreational equipment to enhance the lives of those with a disability.

Since 2015, Cessnock Toyota has been major sponsor of the annual Mark Hughes Foundation Golf Day which in 2015 raised nearly $30,000 for Brain Cancer research, heightened awareness and support for brain cancer patients and their families.

With the support of Toyota, local secondary school St Phillips Christian College have benefited from the 'Toyota Plant a Tree Day' program which is run annually and gives children a hands on approach to preserving the environment.

Toyota Australia's origins go back to 1958 when Theiss Brothers began importing the first LandCruiser models for work on the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric scheme and sold the first Toyota LandCruiser in 1959. Assembly of Toyota cars began in the Melbourne factory of Australian Motor Industries (later AMI-Toyota) in 1963 and within a decade the Corolla and Corona (replaced by Camry in 1987) were well established in the market.
